About
Phillip Rosenhaus is a graduating senior at Brooklyn College, majoring in Television, Radio, and Emerging Media. His college career has been filled with writing, multi-camera productions, audio design, and virtual reality production. Throughout his time at the college, he discovered a strong passion for audio engineering, script writing, and directing, while steadily developing his skills in each of those areas over his three years there. Phillip is currently employed by the National Park Service at the National Gateway Recreation Area, working at Fort Tilden and Jacob Riis Park. This marks his fifth year with the organization. In this role, he has strengthened his leadership abilities and significantly improved his ability to solve problems on the fly, all while ensuring that park guests remain safe and well-informed. In addition, he worked with the college’s local radio station, WBCR, serving as a soundboard operator for the show Beyond the Box Score. In that position, he was responsible for managing the show’s audio controls and handling the downloading and uploading of episodes during his shifts, gaining hands-on experience in an essential area of media production. Beyond his professional and academic work, Phillip is an Eagle Scout through Troop 147 in Rockaway, New York. He held multiple leadership positions within the troop and guided younger scouts as they advanced through the ranks, while also serving as an Assistant Scoutmaster. Phillip’s years in scouting helped him develop a strong sense of responsibility, leadership, and dedication as he moves forward in his professional career in media and writing.
